* Gamma correction commands to compensate for differences in screen displays.
* The dither commands can now take gamma into consideration which can make a very big improvement in dithering quality.
* The windows VGA palette dosen't seem to match the colors that it claims so color compensation has been added specifically for generating 16 color images for viewing under Windows with a VGA screen. For previewing images on VGA, there is also a quick 8 color dither.

WinGIF is a Win3 GIF decoder/BMP converter. It has the capability to process and save new GIF files from existing ones, in that a file can be altered as to color, tonality, and size. A portion of or the entire image can be cut to the clipboard for pasting into other applications.
A "memory image" option is available to create a device bitmap in memory for faster screen updates.
